Workin' hard- Thursday

The kids REALLY rose to the challenge this afternoon. Downtown many of us were out of our comfort zones! PLEASE ask your student(s) about their experience! They were so mature! When we got back, we washed 3 cars and a golf cart! We also cooled off  with the hose!!! :) 

I can't even begin to to thank you for all of your prayers! They were heard and answered. Please continue to pray for the students and the many that we met on the streets. 

Tonight- Wednesday

Tonight some of us stayed at Calvary for a time of prayer and others went to Dégagé to hand out root beer floats and play bingo.

• that every student will work harder tomorrow than the have all week. 
• for miracles. 

 

Wednesday afternoon

Today we had the amazing opportunity to see what it's like to be homeless. We went on a scavenger hunt like activity. We collected things like returnable bottles, job applications, information on places to shower, etc. It was very eye opening for all of us.

We had groups at Urban Family Ministries, Mel Trotter and Calvary this morning. Tasks included yard work and organization, cleaning and wiping down toys and assembling bags for construction workers. Here are some pictures:
